FAQ for renters
If you are looking to experience a day out on the water your first step is todownload our app.
Search for boats for rent or charter by entering your desired location.
A list of boats and experiences available in your desired destination will populate and you may use our advanced filters to narrow down your search.
Send a booking request with the departure date, and the number of participants in your group.
The host will have the option to accept or decline your booking request based on availability or suggest an alternative departure date and or time.
Confirm the booking by verifying your ID and securely paying with a credit card.
Receive direct contact information of the host and the boarding ID.
Once the host accepts your booking request, your credit card will be charged for the total booking price plus our service fee of 15%. You will then be given the host's contact information and will be able to contact them directly. Upon boarding the vessel you will need to provide the host your boarding ID.
We understand that due to unforeseen circumstances a confirmed booking might need to be canceled.
If the host cancels a trip, the renter will receive a refund for the entire amount of the booking including our service fees.
If you must cancel the trip you may do so, but will be bound by the host's cancelation policy. If the host does not have a cancelation policy you will receive a full refund if canceled within 5 days or more from the time of the trip per our cancellation policy. Our service fees are non-refundable.
If you would like to make a change to a confirmed booking you may do so by communicating directly with the host. Depending on availability, the host may or may not be able to accommodate the changes.
For the renter, a service fee of 15% is added to the total booking amount.
Just like booking a hotel room or a rental car Boatlink requests identity verification to protect the safety of our vessel owners and captains.

To get started you need to create a listing detailing all the information about your boat or experience offered and add photos.
Set at least 3 price options based on the length of the trip.
Customers will send you booking requests and you may accept or decline them based on availability, you may also offer alternative departure dates to accommodate your schedule.
Once a booking is processed you will receive a confirmation email and have access to the contact info of the renter.
At the start of the charter collect the Booking ID from the renter and enter it on the app to verify the booking.
Add your direct deposit bank info, to receive payouts.
A 3% of the total booking amount will be deduced as a service fee.
We process payouts weekly, payments will become available in your bank account within 5-10 business days from the time we process them.
